You will get a new TeraFlex EXTREME SHORT SYE kit and a heavy duty 1310 CV driveshaft. This will eliminate drive train vibrations on lifted jeeps. We know the length of driveshaft to be able to ship them together. This is a complete kit with instructions. All SYE kits and driveshafts are not built the same. Watch out for cheap junk! These driveshafts only use spicer u joints and are spun balanced at over 100 miles an hour. Full contact 7" slip and spline not the cheaper 3" of spline on the end. The Extreme Short Shaft kit is what short wheelbase Wrangler owners have been dreaming of for decades. The Extreme kit not only improves on strength, but also increases driveshaft lengths by up to 7” over a stock application. It is over 3” shorter than a standard SYE kit, and 1-1/2” shorter than an ATLAS II. The Extreme SS kit comes with all necessary components to modify the stock 231 case. Speedometer readings are transferred through a tone ring and electronic sensor. A converter box is necessary to make any speedometer calibration adjustments. This kit must be used with a CV style (double cardan) driveshaft. Note: Fits 231-J transfer cases only. Earlier 231 applications with mechanical speedometer cable require updating to an electronic speedometer.
