BDS 6" DSC Coil-Over Lift Kit FOR 2019-2021 Ford Ranger 4WD

Built off the standard 6" lift kits, these new systems up the ante with FOX 2.5 Factory Race Series front coilovers featuring DSC (dual speed compression) adjusters to dial in the the high-speed and low-speed compression damping. Case in point the (NHTSA) National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's FMVSS No.126 compliance standards requiring any aftermarket modification to not adversely effect the vehicle's electronic stability control (ESC) system performance in the event of an evasive maneuver. These new kits have been independently tested and certified compliant with these standards with up to 35" tires [as tested on 35x12.50 tires on 18x9 wheels w/ 5" BS]. Additionally through our extensive testing we've found a number of concerns that needed to be addressed to ensure durability, compatibility and functionality on the new Ranger.

Up front a pair of 1/4" thick laser cut steel crossmembers to improve clearance and provide a solid mounting point for the OE lower control arms. The front crossmember allows integration of the factory front skid and pair with the supplied heavy duty differential skids and sway bar relocation brackets to create a rigid subframe that adds protection for vital steering and driveline components. In place of the factory steering knuckles a pair of specially designed ductile cast iron replacement knuckles are supplied to maintain proper steering geometry for ESC system compatibility. These connect to the factory steering with a pair of heavy duty replacement tie rod ends included in the kit. The front differential is repositioned with BDS's multipoint relocation bracket system to secure the front differential and keep CV axle angles at a minimum. A billet aluminum front driveshaft spacer is also supplied along with longer hardware to allow the reinstallation of the factory front driveshaft. A pair of brake line relocation brackets are used to reposition the factory lines along with a new lower control arm cam bolts for more range of motion and easier alignment.

Moving towards the rear this 6" lift system BDS supplies a heavy duty replacement transfer case crossmember used to eliminate any driveline vibrations. This crossmember also includes a carrier bearing drop to improve rear driveline angle and allow the reinstallation of the factory driveshaft. Rear lift comes from a pair of 3-5/8" steel fabricated lift blocks designed to level the stance, secured with larger black e-coated u-bolts. Rear brake line brackets and e-brake brackets are supplied and these kits are finished off with a pair of FOX 2.0 IFP performance series gas shocks to offer improved damper performance. All kits come finished in a durable textured black powdercoat and sent with all hardware packs to complete the install along with step-by-step installation instructions. Important Kit Notes

• *IMPORTANT* Ford is producing two knuckle/control arm configurations in 2020+ model Rangers. Cast steel knuckle equipped models have different ball joints than models equipped with Aluminum knuckles. Be sure to verify which factory knuckle your truck has before ordering by referencing our help images when customizing your kit.
• 1. Requires frame bracket and differential modification. If using a plasma cutter for frame bracket mod, disconnecting the battery is highly recommended.
• 2. Stock 17-18" wheels cannot be reinstalled.
• 3. When balancing tires for 17-18" wheels, wheel weights are best positioned towards the center of the wheel to avoid interference with the tie rod end.
• 4. Rack & Pinion steering is sensitive to tire choice. Aggressive tires, smaller backspacing or tires that require several wheel weights may induce steering wheel wobble.
• 5. Will NOT work on trucks equipped with cast steel steering knuckles.
• 6. Will not work with Tremor models.
